  lol ohai, a huge ol’ heaping pile of bullshit. Unfortunately, some of the most vocal otherkin and otherkin supporters here on tumblr do directly compare otherkin to LGBTQ*. These selfsame people have, in fact, compared their “oppression” as magical animal people to the bullshit LGBTQ* people put up with all day every day. Dollars to doughnuts no one with legit complaints would give a good goddamn about otherkin if they didn’t read some of the most tone-deaf, infuriating, and offensive pieces of bullshit flying out from the otherkin camp about how privileged and special LGBTQ* people’s lives are and if they could just be called a cat it would ttly be the same as the respect that LGTBQ* people experience all of the time, forever, without exception, from everywhere and everyone all over the world.

  Seriously y’all. There are plenty of nice otherkin out there who don’t go on whiny appropriating tirades about how oppressed they are for being magical faery wolves, but to say that 100% of the crowd never ever does and everyone just hates on the poor otherkins for no good reason is patently false.
